Oregon DMV

There is a huge opportunity to improve driver experiences at the Oregon DMV. Through UX research and design, I have created a prototype that would improve site usability, promote and increase the REAL ID application completion, and reduce business costs (time and money) by encouraging users to achieve their needs online instead of in-person.

Final Prototype

Testing and feedback was critical in evaluating whether my design solved the problem users faced when DMV website. Only after numerous user testing, feedback, and critique, I was able to take my low-fidelity prototype into the final stages of prototyping. The most challenging part was staying within branding guidelines especially as it is a government website. Test out the mobile site above!

Artifacts

Understanding and defining the problem space of the first UX double-diamond methodology helped set my goal and vision up for success. Looking back, it was valuable to create these Figma Jam assets (right) and the low fidelity prototype (below)!
